Two of my very favorite things to paint:  soft, quiet moments with a loved one, and the awesome beauty of nature painted onsite!  "Praise in E Minor" was created in oil on canvas, working dark to light.  It depicts my then 16-year old daughter in a home guitar lesson in the evening's lazy light.  (If you are a musician, you'll note that the chord that she is fingering is indeed E Minor!) This work has become available as a giclee print.  "Plein Air Trees," a riverbed scene that an artist friend and I studied one lazy summer day, was created in oil on canvas, and features trees that stand guard over the Arkansas River that runs through our area.  This piece is also now available as a giclee print.
