These plein-air studies are of sites quite close to our home.  In fact, "My Front Yard" was painted from my front porch! (Can't get more convenient than that, can you?)  And "Cattle Guard Hill" is just up the bluff from us (though they've now removed that cattle guard- oh, well.)  Created in oil on canvas in a more loose interpretation than I've tried, these pieces were both great fun and I'll be using more of this style!
