These pieces depict two of our favorite
getaways: the "North Shore," of our local reservoir (near the home where
we raised our two children) and "Cement Creek," a favorite fishing hole in
the Western part of our state. The sunsets in our area can be brilliant on
a warm summer night. Conversely, the shade and breezes of the willows in
"the fourteeners" (Colorado's 14-thousand foot peaks)
create a cool that soothes to the core after a long day of chasing rainbow
trout. These plein air interpretations were created in oil on
canvas.
